Sometimes, you may need to create new insights for a quick overview of your data, and this can be done easily.
Example Scenario
If you need a list of all active Elements, follow these steps:
1. Click 'New' in the top-right corner, select 'Question,' and choose 'Reporting.'
2. Select 'Elements' as your data source.'
3. Apply a filter:
- Choose 'Is Active' and set it to 'True' to exclude archived Elements.
Your query will look like the screenshot below.
4. Select 'Visualize'.
5. You'll be brought to a page showing your data in report format.
(Note: Data in 'report format' cannot be visualised as charts)
6. Once all complete, press 'Save' in the top right
7. Create a Name for your new insight
8. It will ask you 'Which collection should this go in', ALWAYS choose 'My personal collection' (this means your chart will be accessible for everyone to search later)
9. Press 'Save'
10. It will ask you if you would like to 'Add this to a dashboard', select 'Yes please!'and choose your desired dashboard from the list.
