This guide explains how to create reusable notification templates in Admin. Notification templates let you build multi-stage date and notification sequences that can be applied across campaigns.
Admin role: Full access
Superuser: Reduced access
Basic User: No access
Create a New Notification Template
Navigate to Admin > Campaign > Date Templates.
Select Create.
Enter a Template Name.
In the Date Name field, enter the name of the event.
Choose whether notifications should be sent for that event by turning Send notifications on or off.
If notifications are enabled, choose how the notification should be timed:
Event Date
Working days after Event
If using Working days after Event, select the related event from the dropdown and enter the number of working days after that event.
Select the User Department the notification should be sent to.
User departments are setup in Admin > Tags and assigned in Admin > Users
Optionally add any additional recipient email addresses.
Enter the Subject Line for the notification.
Enter the Message content for the notification.
To add another stage, select Add New Date and repeat the same steps.
Select Save to create the template.
The template will then appear in the active template list.
Manage an Existing Notification Template
Navigate to Admin > Campaign > Date Templates.
Select the existing template you want to update.
Amend the template name, event names, timing rules, recipients, subject lines, or message content as needed.
Select Save to apply your changes.
Notes
Sequential Logic: When setting up templates, remember that Working days after Event relies on the completion of at least one event already setup
User Departments are managed in Admin > Tags and assigned to users in Admin > Users.
Templates can include multiple linked stages.
Fields and notification settings can be edited, enabled, or disabled at any time.
