Link Assets to Elements using imports

You can link Assets Data to Elements in bulk by downloading the CSV spreadsheet from the system, making amendments and uploading back into the system


Roles required

Admin role - Full access


Start downloading

  1. Go to Admin > Assets
  2. Select More Actions and Download Assets CSV
  3. You'll see a notification of the CSV template downloaded
  4. Open the CSV template from within your desktop download folder section
  5. You will see a full database of Assets Data, along with your Store data, and assets assigned to stores, categories and elements
  6. The CSV spreadsheet includes all headers:

Store Number - Yellow

Store Asset - Green

Description

Height - Purple

Depth

Width - Purple

Notes

Element - Blue

Tag/Category - Orange

IsActive - Grey




7. To link an Asset to an Element, add an extra row under 'notes' and label as 'Element' in column A

8. Get your Element Codes within the system and start to link to each Asset by labelling on the Element row and the same column as your Asset

9. Once all completed, you can upload the assets CSV template back into the system
