Different Ways to Allocate Items in a Campaign

1. Assets

  • Assets are assigned to locations within the Admin section with a set quantity amount.

  • Elements can be assigned to assets.

  • Elements can hold a specific quantity amount.

2. Features

  • Quantities are assigned during the allocation stage when building a campaign.

  • When applied to an asset, a feature becomes a sub-attribute.

3. Locations

  • Quantities are assigned directly at the allocation stage when building a campaign.

4. Location Lists

  • Quantities are assigned to Location Lists at the admin level.

Other Allocation Factors

1. Category (Groups)

  • Assigning large data sets of assets and features into categories (groups) helps identify the correct group of assets and features.

2. Elements (Specifications)

  • Elements have a default quantity of 1 unless changed.

  • Elements can be added to an asset to refine an allocation.

  • Elements assist in reducing allocation errors.

3. Add/Exclude Rules

  • You can apply add/exclude rules to Asset, Priority, or Feature allocations:

    • Add Rule: Adds only the locations that appear on the list.

    • Exclude Rule: Excludes only the locations that appear on the list.
