How to create an allocation for Assets:

This allocation relies on quantity data held against a branch.

If you choose to allocate to all the available assets, and leave the quantity grayed as 1, the system will allocate 1 item per window asset assigned per branch.

You can overwrite this quantity if you want to send 2/3 etc for every asset that exists in the branch.

Allocating Per Asset:

To allocate an item per asset, follow these steps:

    1. Access the campaign.

    2. Select the item you want to allocate.

    3. Click on the three dots located on the right side.

    4. From the dropdown menu, choose "Allocation."

    5. Click on the "Allocation 1" field.

    6. In the "Allocated by" dropdown, select "Asset."

    7. Choose the desired asset for allocation from the asset dropdown field.

    8. Click the "Create New Allocation" button to complete the asset allocation

    9. Review the allocation in the overview tab

Tip:
You can also define the quantity of the asset you want to allocate in the "Quantity" field. 1= 100% of the assets will be allocated to

When allocating per asset, consider using category filters that match the asset categories you've set in the "Admin > Asset > Assigning Categories/Tags to Assets” section.

Allocation calculations based on element quantity of more than 1

Upon selecting the asset if in admin asset set up the user has said it holds more than 1 of that element the quantity ordered for that item will be calculated as follows:

Qty ordered = (element qty x allocation qty) x number of asset

Allocation to assets linked to Feature

Creating allocation:

Assumptions: The features linked to assets are only ever connected to assets and the user knows which features they have linked to the asset

  1. Select allocation for the item you want to allocate

  2. Choose allocation type Asset

  3. Select the asset you want to allocate to

  4. Apply add only feature and choose the features you want to filter by ( note features dropdown isn’t filtered to just those linked to the asset)
