How to Edit Stock Quantities

The system will track your inventory, from the original stock quantity uploaded, deducting any processed orders.

Items are deducted from the original quantity once an order is placed if the item doesn't require approval.

If an item requires approval, it is only deducted once approval is given.

If an item is on back order, it is only deducted once back orders are fulfilled.

Sometimes though, a count of the stock on shelf reveals a discrepancy, or new stock had been produced that needs to be added.

To amend the stock quantity on a product, navigate to Catalogue Management.

Single line amends

If you're just updating a few lines, this can be done by clicking the edit icon and scrolling down to the stock quantity field.

You can then amend the quantity shown against any product.

Remember to click on the publish button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

To update various product lines en masse

Alternatively, within Catalogue Management, you can download the product list by clicking the download button on the right hand side.

Make any amends required in the stock quantity column of your downloaded spreadsheet and save them.

You can then upload those changes within Catalogue Management by clicking the 'upload products' button and browsing to your fie.

You will see a green upload message if this has gone through correctly, or a red message highlighting any areas that were not correctly formatted, if there were any issues with the upload.
