This advanced bulk action is used to map Assets to their Locations. It’s ideal for blanket allocations where you set the quantity of each asset available at each location.
Admin: Full Access
Super User: Edit Only
Basic User: View Only
Download the Assets Allocation list
Navigate to Admin > Assets
Select the More actions dropdown button (top right).
Select Download Allocation CSV.
A notification will appear: "Your download is processing in background. We will send you an email when it is completed."
Check your email inbox for the file attachment (e.g., "Asset Allocations.csv").
Open the file and populate the spreadsheet by entering the desired quantity for each Asset at each Location.
Upload the Assets Allocation list
Return to the Assets page.
Select the More actions dropdown button.
Select Upload Allocation CSV.
The system will prompt you to select the file. Browse files and upload your completed and saved Allocation CSV file.
A confirmation pop-up will notify you when the import is successful.
You cannot create new assets in this method, this is only used for allocating Assets to Locations
