How to create Elements

This guide explains how to create a new Element within the platform. Elements define the physical specifications used across campaign items and ensure consistency between production, artwork, and suppliers.

Admin: Full Access 

Super User: Edit Only

Basic User: View Only

Group Manager: View Only



Access the Element Library

  1. Navigate to Elements from the main sidebar

  2. Click + Create in the top-right corner

Enter Required Details

In the Create a new Element modal, complete the required fields:

  1. Name: Descriptive name of the physical item (e.g. Window Poster)

  2. Product Code: Unique internal or supplier reference

  3. Supplier: Select from the single-select dropdown

Click Create to generate the Element profile.


Adding Specifications (Optional)

After creation, you can expand the Element profile with additional specifications.
Based on the Element creation and profile screens, the following fields are available for configuration when creating or editing an Element:

Identification & General Information

  • How To Use: Text field for instructions or intended placement.

  • Item Type: Categorisation for the specific element type.

  • Categories: Searchable groupings for the library.


Product Specifications

  • Size: Overall dimensions of the element.

  • Width (Flat): Measurement when the item is laid out flat.

  • Height (Flat): Measurement when the item is laid out flat.

  • Width (Finished): Measurement of the final produced item.

  • Height (Finished): Measurement of the final produced item.

  • Length: The linear measurement of the item.

  • Flat Size: Overall area when flat.

  • Insert Size: Dimensions for any required inserts.

  • Size For Pop: Specific dimensions for Point of Purchase displays.

  • GSM/Weight: The weight or thickness of the material.

  • Material: The type of material used (e.g., paper, plastic).

  • Finishing: Details on laminates, coatings, or special treatments.

  • Colours: Specific ink or color requirements.

Production & Technical Details

  • Bleed: Necessary overprint area for trimming.

  • Die Line: Technical specifications for cutting or folding.

  • Number of Sides: Indicates if the item is single or double-sided.

  • Hardware: Requirements for frames, stands, or mounting.

  • Panels: Number of distinct sections or panels.

  • Pages: Page count for booklets or multi-page elements.

  • Fold: Folding requirements and styles.

  • Paper Grade: The specific quality or type of paper used.

Shipping & Logistics

  • Outside Panel Dimension: Measurement for external display panels.

  • Inside Panel Dimensions: Measurement for internal display sections.

  • Carton Dimensions: Shipping container size.

  • Per Pack: Quantity of elements contained in a single pack.

  • Piece Weight (lb): Weight of a single individual element.

Notes & Additional Information

  • Additional Info 1 & 2: Fields for extra miscellaneous data.

  • Notes: General area for internal comments or specialized instructions.
